This San Francisco Engagement will blow your socks off!! Sonia and Allan are an adorable couple and we loved getting to know them as we roamed around San Francisco. Their love story is a beautiful combination of comedy, perfect timing, and modern romance:
“Allan and I met through mutual friends 5 years ago. I had just moved to San Francisco to start law school, and he had just moved to San Francisco from Berkeley after graduating from business school. I met up with a couple of friends (Robbie and Neena) for drinks, and Robbie brought out 3 friends from business school. Allan did not want to go out that night, but was coerced into going out, so he was in a terrible mood. I was trying to catch up with Robbie and Neena, so I wasn’t paying attention to him. He managed to piss of all of my friends that night with his snarky, sarcastic (some might say controversial) humor, but I found his cat jokes to be oddly amusing. We kept bumping into each other in San Francisco before he finally messaged me on Facebook to ask for my number. On our first date, he accidentally took me to a lesbian bar, and it has been true love ever since!”
From Sonia: “I love Allan’s sense of humor, his passion and drive to be the best in his profession, and the thoughtful way he treats his closest friends and family (especially his mom and grandma). He makes me laugh harder than anyone I know, challenges me to work harder and accomplish more, and fits in seamlessly with my family.
From Allan: “Things I like most about Sonia: she is patient (especially with me), know how to calm me down, is attentive, cooks delicious food, always calls me out on my BS, and makes me laugh.”
Allan and Sonia will be trying the knot next spring in Santa Monica and we are stoked!! We can’t wait to have the Figlewicz Photography team there to witness these two coming together to make a family all their own.
