Melissa and Tom’s wedding at The Oaks Room Calamigos Ranch has a touch of rustic charm, a dash of vintage grace, and just the right amount of traditional elegance. Calamigos Ranch is always an incredible venue to photograph and we love to see their greenery that is present throughout the year. Melissa and Tom, along with Love and Laughter Events, planned an elegant wedding that matched their personalities perfectly!

These two met at their first job out of law school. Fast forward a few years and you will find Tom and Melissa very much in love and living life together in the South Bay. This is where we pick up their incredible engagement story: “Tommy surprised me with an aerial helicopter tour of the Southern California coast. We flew from the South Bay up to the Pacific Palisades and then south down the coast towards Hermosa Beach. Tommy asked his brother Mike, sister-in-law Jeannie, and friend Rob to write ‘WILL YOU MARRY ME?’ in the sand on the beach. As we flew over our hometown, Hermosa Beach, my attention was directed down to the beach, where I (eventually!!) saw the writing in the sand. I was surprised, shocked, and maybe a little confused if it was for me or not until Tommy presented me with an engagement ring and proposed. I said yes!” 

Melissa and Tom’s relationship is built on unconditional love. “We consistently challenge one another to stay open minded. We enjoy exploring the world together on this journey of life.” They have not only built a romantic relationship, but they have cultivated a friendship that will help them last as husband and wife. We feel so blessed to have been part of Melissa and Tom’s wedding day team and capturing The Oaks Room Calamigos Ranch wedding for these two was an absolute honor.
