Christina and Chris’s Kellogg House Pomona Wedding was whimsical and romantic! We loved having Figlewicz Photography these to capture their nuptials and we fell in love with their venue. Their dating and engagement stories are adorable and we love to hear them talk about them:
How did you meet?
Christina: We went to high school together, but we didn’t really know each other then. He was on the cross-country and track team with my brother and sister, and my dad was the coach. People would tell me that he had the biggest crush on me and that he was claiming he would marry me- I didn’t believe it then!
Christopher: I stalked her… Just kidding. We met during high school, and we started to get to know each other (reality: I really started to get to know her) after her dad took a coaching position on the cross country team. We kept in touch over the years, and I liked all her Instagram posts.
Christina: The post-liking eventually got to me 😉
Tell us about the proposal!!
Christopher: I planned a romantic getaway for us, and I made it on the same day as my birthday so I could add to the surprise…She was thinking I was just doing all of that stuff for my birthday, but really I was planning to propose.
Christina: On his birthday! He pretended he was taking me to a restaurant that he wanted to go to. Then he pretended like we just happened to pass by the Mission Inn. He had reserved a couple’s massage. We spent all day there, and he ended up proposing later that night with the Christmas lights all around. He was very sweet!
Christina and Chris met when they were young but that didn’t stop their love from being strong from the very beginning. They love to hike, swim, eat, and simply enjoy time together. Life is best when experienced with the one you love and Christina and Chris are about to embark on their biggest adventure yet.
