Rachel and Huntley’s Walnut Grove Wedding was stunning!! They wanted a modern, rustic outdoor wedding with a countryside feel and man did they succeed!
Every moment of this event was full of beautiful details and joyful smiles. Rachel and Huntley first met in 2000 during their sophomore year of high school. “Oddly enough, we did not really interact romantically until mid years of college and stared officially dating in 2015.”
Huntley proposed after they ran the LA marathon this past March. When they got to the end, their family and friends were waiting by the Santa Monica pier (along with KTLA 5 news!!) and he proposed in front of them. This story is incredible and we can imagine the rush of excitement as they came to the end of the marathon and had another milestone to celebrate as an engaged couple.
“We decided after many years of not trying to be together (but always returning to each other somehow), that we would give it a shot, and we knew automatically that it would be more than any other relationship that we have been in. We are opposites in many ways, but are grounded by the same values which we think will guide our marriage and future together. We love the fact that our connection is so natural and that we don’t have to be anyone else but ourselves with each other!”
We loved capturing this event and wish Rachel and Huntley a lifetime of joy and love!
