Katherine and Patrick are a perfectly matched couple. Their story is full of unexpected twists and turns that kept us looking for the missed opportunities and romantic moments these two have shared over the years. “Patrick and I met the summer after we both graduated from college. I attended Cal Poly SLO and he SFSU. I obtained an internship in the Bay Area that summer and moved from SLO to San Jose and was living with my grandma, but I spend most of my weekends in San Francisco with one of my best friends from high school. At the time she was living with her boyfriend and good college friend. The friend, Wilder (who is also our wedding officiant!), was good friends with Patrick. I ended up living on their apartment floor and after a few weeks Patrick kept hearing about some girl living on his Wilder’s floor, but we had not officially met at this point. Patrick went to Europe for a month, but I ended up meeting him at a party (maybe Halloween? We can’t agree on this fact.) It wasn’t until a year later that we started talking and hanging out.” Patrick added this detail to the story: “I bribed her on a date with a promise of fish tacos and ice cream!” Their private estate wedding brought together friends, family, and the breathtaking mountain views of Arnold, California that are so special to this couple.
We hope you enjoy Part 1 of this mountain wedding and we are stoked to get you Part 2 so soon!
P.S. check out their “cheese” cake at the end of the blog…it’s epic!
