Palos Verdes Horse Trail Engagement | Ashley + Drew
We have a Palos Verdes Horse Trail engagement for you and we think you are gonna love it! Drew and Ashley are an awesome couple and they can have fun doing just about anything. They first met in college on the 4th of July. Throughout the summer they kept in touch and built a strong friendship that developed into a beautiful relationship. “Our friendship is light of our relationship and makes even the most mundane tasks hysterical. We met when we were the dumbest versions of ourselves and I love that. We have had the great pleasure of growing up and out of our silly, young selves and can now look back and laugh at it all…together.”
Fast forward and we find Drew and Ashley at a friend’s wedding last summer. Ashley tells this story so well so we will let her pick it back up and tell us about their engagement. “I love our proposal because it is so very us: a little different, intimate, and not at all showy. To tell the story of our proposal I have to take you back, back to the day when Drew met Matt. Matt and Drew met in college playing baseball. They quickly clicked and became best buds. They knew each other from the old neighborhood days and they have best friend relationship every wants and envies. Matt met and eventually fell in love with Joanna, Drew’s baby sister. Their wedding was during the summer of 2016 in June Lake and was beautiful and so perfect! We spent our second to last day fishing in the sun and walking through streams. Matt and Jo got Drew and I together to take a picture with a beautiful mountainous back drop. When I turned to smile at the camera, drew dropped down on one knee and it was the most beautiful sight. To see the man I love ask me to love him forever was just the best thing I have ever witnessed.”
