The Eroen family is originally from Catalina Island and we have been close friends with them for awhile now. They live here now on the mainland and Ben is working as a dentist for Dr. Terry L. Wheeler (awesome dentist if you were looking for someone). We have been shooting family portraits for the Eroen family for the past three years now, and every year Ben talks about how he hates taking pictures. Ha! We always remind him he is doing it for is wife :). We don’t know what the fuss is about though, really, you look great Ben!

Hi I'm following you on FB because I think your photos are lovely. I am a beginner and have offered to shoot my friends two very young children. May I ask how many lights you use, for this shoot (Eroen Family) in particular? Are you using just one off camera? Thank you so much.

We actually didn't use any lights on this shoot. The sun was setting at our backs and there was a big white building reflecting light right back into there face. It was behind me :) That's why they might be a little more orange then our normal. Thanks so much for following us on FB too! We are going to have a work shop coming up soon.
