Jean and Mike met at our church 4 years ago. Their love story didn’t start out quite like others. Jean basically told Mike he wasn’t a grown up yet. LOL Mike took it better then you would think and let her go. At least that’s what she thought. I took a couple of years, but Mike”grew up” and Jean saw the true Mike who loved her no matter what. She realized he had always been the one! There was no turning back from this love. God did an incredible job at pairing these two together. They really are two peas in a pod!
Mike designs and builds amazing rings, so he was very excited to finally make the ring for HIS bride. He realized it was time and he had to ask her, so he did, right there and then in the parking lot of Burger City! The same place where they had first held hands. Jean was blown away that he remembered this little detail and of course she said yes.
Mike is the guy at our church who all the kids harass. He really did it to himself by being way to nice. They all love him! And we all love him for entertaining our kids every Tuesday night and Sunday morning! He has a heart of gold and he can’t wait to be a dad! Jean also has a heart of gold and is an amazing teacher! Mike quickly found out that when you are hot for teacher, that hot teacher decides to have the wedding at her school and invites her entire school to your wedding. They were both thrilled to be surrounded by their family and 100’s and 100’s of friends and kids! Literally 100’s of kids! The school was the perfect place for the In N Out truck, jumpers, candy bar, and ice cream sandwiches. I think every kid there was on the best candy high of their entire lives!
Mike and Jean we are so excited for this next chapter of your story! You both know that God is the center of your relationship, which is the hardest part to learn. You have both gone through different things in your life separately and now you get to experience life’s ups and downs together. What an amazing thing it is to walk this journey together! We love you guys and we can’t wait for the next chapters too!

Mike and Jean you are hilarious! Yes Jean was a little ill on the wedding day, but know one even knew! Here they are making fun of their circumstances! This is why every loves you guys!
