This Manhattan Beach Engagement is going to give you all of the summer feels! Emily and Brian met during the summer of 2014 at Outsidelands Music Festival in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. Brian and his friends saw Emily and her friends walk by them before Tiesto came on and immediately decided to follow them and find out who they were. The groups started talking and Brian and Emily immediately gravitated toward each other. They realized they had a lot in common, especially since they were both born in Redondo Beach. They danced the night away and exchanged phone numbers not knowing if they would ever see each other again. (spoiler alert: they did see each other again and it went very well!)
Fast forward to Emily’s 25th birthday and she and Brian are are in Kauai and staying in a treehouse for the week! One the morning of Emily’s birthday, Brian surprised her by suggesting she open a birthday gift first thing in the morning. He had her close her eyes and when she opened them Brian was down on one knee popping the question. Emily loves how organic, raw, and sentimental the moment was and you can hear the joy in her voice when she talks about it. Moving into marriage was a mutual and effortless transition. “After a year of long distance together we decided to move to Los Angeles together to see if we could make things work in the same city. After nearly two years of living in LA, marriage was just one of the many topics we discussed. We have always had the same values, our families got along well, and we have the same interest and desires in life. It has just always been so easy with each other. We thrive off of each other’s ideas and inspirations. We are always showing support, encouragement, and love towards one another.”
Emily and Brian, we are so excited to see you two tie the knot next April. Thanks for wandering around Manhattan Beach with us and filling us in on your love story!
