La Venta Inn Wedding | Nickelle + Joe

Nickelle and Joe are full of amazing personality and a zest for life that is contagious! Their La Venta Inn Wedding was traditional with a touch of modern elegance and captured their personalities well. Have you ever seen two people that just seem perfect for each other? Well, Nickelle and Joe are those two people. When we asked them what drew them to consider marriage, they gave these answers. Joe said, “one morning Nickelle woke up and started singing ‘You are my sunshine, my only sunshine’ to me. It was at that moment I realized I would be an absolute idiot to let her get away.” Nickelle answered, “I found a partner with whom I could truly be myself, who was genuine, sincere, and shared the same thirst for knowledge, fun, and adventure.” We love their appreciation of each other’s depth and character. Those are the qualities that outlast the hard times in a marriage and Nickelle and Joe have such a strong foundation beneath them as they head into this new season of union. 

The details in this wedding created a beautiful, elegant atmosphere for everyone in attendance. Take a second to admire the fireplace mantel at La Venta! The greenery and candles framing this piece were perfect and we loved capturing the incredible chandeliers leading to this mantel. A bride’s shoes are always fun to photograph. This detail is one way to see a bride’s unique style come through in the midst of a day steeped in tradition. In Nickelle’s case, we were stoked to see a pair of Silver Christian Louboutin heels just waiting for a photo! We also loved the light colors added into the floral details and the purple ribbon detail on each box of chocolate.
