Katie and Brad’s Joshua Tree Engagement was desert perfection! These two met at work at Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa. It was Katie’s first day at work and the HR manager was giving her a tour of the property. They wandered over to the country club where Brad worked and we can guess what happened from there. Fast forward to June of 2016 and Katie had fallen asleep during a movie. Brad screamed to scare her awake and after waking with a start he comforted Katie by saying “awww, it’s okay. I love you!” Katie responded “yeah, yeah, say it with a ring.” So Brad got up and gave her a ring he had ready for that moment. We love this!!!
This story is awesome and really represents Brad and Katie’s sense of humor. They are perfect for one another and complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Katie loves Brad’s devotion and caring nature. Brad loves Katie’s gratefulness. She highly values little moments of generosity and is known for hand writing thank you notes for every act of kindness. Katie and Brad have gone through some big transitions and challenges along with times of celebration and joy in their relationship. The ups and downs of life have made these two stronger and we know their marriage is going to be an extension of their dedication and love!
After a long day Katie and Brad love to relax with their four dogs (love!!), watch Netflix, and share about what happened during work. “If we had more time and more land, we would have more dogs!!” A couple that values dogs is always a good match for the Figlewicz Photography team and we are so excited to be part of Katie and Brad’s wedding day team!
