Hanna and Marc met at church when they were in middle school, in Hanna’s mom’s Sunday school class. She introduced them. It wasn’t love at first sight, but they always enjoyed being around each other. Marc tried to win her over with his eye brow muscles! It really is amazing how he can move them! LOL Years passed and they finally decided that they were meant to be together! Of course their families were thrilled. They never really talked about marriage, but the moment they decided to start dating they knew they would end up getting married when the time was right.
Marc proposed to Hanna on a Thursday night after they had gotten back from dinner. They were just hanging out, had candles lit, and were going to split a dessert and watch a movie. Marc started saying sweet things and told Hanna to look under the candles. Hanna said “Why would I hold a flame over my head?” and Marc said “Just do it.” So she did. Under each candle, he had a post it with the words “Will You Marry Me?” Hanna looked under the first two candles, and yelled “Shut up!” and skipped to the last one. That’s when she realized it was really happening! It was completely unexpected at that time.
