We are so blessed to have an awesome community filled with so many kids. Birthday parties are so much fun and a little chaotic too. And this one was special because Nathan and Emery are in love. It started out a couple years ago with Nathan being in love with Emery’s OLDER sister Bella.
I will never forget the one night when I was putting Nathan to bed and he said to me, “Mommy I want to cuddle with you forever.” I then told Nathan, “that I would always cuddle with him but I think that there would be a day when he gets married and he might not want to cuddle anymore.” He said, “no way I will always want to cuddle.” I said, “well we will see but when he does get married to pick a good girl that likes me.” He then got a funny look on his face and said, “Mommy… don’t be mad but I already asked Bella (Emery’s older sister) to marry me… but I think she likes you!” I started to laugh and then got more details about this love affair. He let me know that every time he was around her his heart would beat really fast and he felt like a crazy lion and a silly monkey. Okay so I might be a little biased but he is the cutest boy in the whole world with the biggest heart ever! Long story short… Bella put up with Nathan as her boyfriend and then the next thing we knew it was over and he was in love with Emery. Well if they do get married one day they are set. We can shoot it, Auntie Nikki can coordinate, and Garrick (Emery’s daddy) can marry them!
