You may remember Josie and Dan from their amazing engagement photos we posted a couple of weeks ago. Well, here is their wedding! This wedding was classic and pretty. We love doing engagement shoots with couples because they get a chance to get comfortable and loosen up in front of the camera before their big day. Josie and Dan were a perfect example of that. The two of them had taking photos down to a tee! They were so relaxed and calm on their wedding day, and their pictures really represented their care-free attitudes towards the sometimes overwhelming aspects of weddings. We also get along really well with Josie and Dan, and we have similar senses of humor, so when we were taking their pictures this day, it just felt like friends hanging out. We think that’s why this wedding was so fun for Josie and Dan, for all of their guests, and for us!

The entire day just felt like everyone was one big family. Because Josie and Dan had been together for so long, it wasn’t as though two strange families were coming together for the first time, but instead a celebration of one giant family. One where everyone knew and got along with one another.
The flower girl was Josie’s niece and was just about the cutest thing on the planet. The two of them together made us melt!
Josie really has a thing for these kinds of different looking keys, and you will see that she added touches of that here and there throughout the wedding day.
These necklaces were a gift from Josie for her bridesmaids and they looked so cool!
Dan’s sisters were cracking us up all day long!
We knew a spot that would be gorgeous to take pictures of Josie and Dan and their wedding party, but because we had never shot there before, we were a little apprehensive about how they would turn out. The place we had in mind ended up working out perfectly and we got to capture these stunning pictures of everyone!
Instead of Josie and Dan getting caught up in the whirlwind and excitement of the day – they took time to be together and relax – which was super important for them!
