Getting to Know Linda and Jason…
Q. How did you meet?
A. We met at a class together in 2002 at Cal Poly Pomona.
Q. How and when did the proposal happen?
A. The proposal took place at our home in Sherman Oaks in front of the fireplace. Jason had put my cell phone and the ring in a Christmas stocking. When he called my cell, I started looking and then found the ring in the stocking. I was very close to Jason’s mom who passed away three years ago and my ring used to be worn by her – very very meaningful.
Q. What drew you together to consider marriage?
A. We’ve been living together since 2005 and have been dating since 2002 so I guess we gotta make this official before we move onto kids.
Q. How long have you been engaged?
A. Since winter 2009
Q. How well do you feel you know each other?
A. Pretty darn well we hope after 8.5 years.
Q. What do you like most about each other?
A. Linda: Jason was a computer science major in College so I like the free lifetime IT support I’ve been getting and will be receiving for the rest of my life. Jason: He likes the fact that I am Asian (international) and make great chew-mien.
Q. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?
A. Hanging out low key at our house on a Friday night.
Q. During your wedding day what are you most looking forward to?
A. Jason: All the free booze. Linda: Marrying Jason (of course)!
Q. During your wedding day what is your biggest concern?
A. Jason: All the free booze that might be gone by the time he starts drinking. Linda: Marrying Jason…
As you can see from their answers, Linda and Jason are so funny and love being together! They even surprised us when they broke out into a hip hop routine for their first dance. It really reflected their great personalities and all the FUN they have together and are going to have now being married! Their ceremony was filled with smiles and tears. I tried my best to not cry. Luckily there were no tears during the reception… just great food and A LOT of dancing!
Linda and Jason you are amazing together and pretty stinkin’ cute too! We can’t wait to see where life takes you! Oh and let’s do dinner soon… Casey loves chew-mien.
