Michele and Brad chose a classic Redondo Beach Engagement for their portrait session and we love how their photos turned out. Michele and Brad first met while living in the same dorm while attending Southern Methodist University. They first met during their freshman year of college and were good friends throughout college. Three years after their graduation, Michele and Brad took their relationship to a new level and started dating while Brad was earning his MBA.
Their proposal story is beautiful so we will let Michele take it from here:
“I walked into my apartment after the gym on Friday and I noticed the apartment was perfectly clean and the counter had a big bouquet of lilies (my favorite flowers) and a bottle of champagne laid out. I remember looking at Brad, who was impeccably dressed, and asking him why the apartment was so clean. In my mind I knew what was happening, but my body couldn’t react. I remember Brad saying, “you know what’s happening, Michele” and he told me to look on the counter because there was a present for me. I saw the ring box hidden behind the flowers and immediately started crying happy tears. Brad got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and of course I said yes! We met up with friends later that evening for celebratory drinks before dinner and little did I know, Brad had another surprise waiting. I remember showing my friends the ring & telling the proposal story, when my sister, Katie, turned around from a nearby seat. Brad had flown Katie in from San Francisco to Dallas to be a part of our special day. Needless to say, I cried happy tears again and we all celebrated together that evening!”
Michele and Brad are having their Palos Verdes wedding this coming September and we cannot wait to see them say “I Do” in just 8 short months!
