Rachel and Sean first met in high school and grew closer as years passed until they both ended up at the same college. As you could guess, their friendship blossomed into something more and after a few years of on and off dating they became serious. Rachel recalls the moment she knew Sean would be her husband: “I don’t know about Sean, but the second I saw him on our “first re-date” at Simmzy’s, I knew I was going to be with him for the rest of my life.”
The proposal happened during a Christmas trip to New York to Rachel’s complete surprise. “At the end of our second day there, we went up to the observation deck at the top of the Rockefellar Building. As we were getting ready to head back down to make our dinner reservations, Sean asked a random stranger to take a photo of us. When I turned to stand with him for the photo, he was down on one knee, with the most serious look I have ever seen on his face. He proposed looking over the city lights and a breathtaking view of the Empire State Building!”
We are so excited for Rachel and Sean! They are a pretty incredible couple and we know that their relationship will endure anything the future brings.
