We love this Mountain Top Engagement! Dana and Matt make a great team and they were so relaxed during their portrait session with Stacee. Their love story is great so we will let them fill you in on all of the details…
“We were fixed up in January 2014 by our mutual friend Patrick. We were both invited along with a large group of Pat’s friends to dinner with the challenge of finishing a 5-liter bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon that Pat picked up from Costco. Pat had been telling Matt about me for the past month leading up to the dinner. Matt, nervous and excited, was looking forward to finally meeting me. I, on the other otherhand, was unaware of this and was only there for the company and the promise of wine. We were purposefully seated next to each other at the dinner table and immediately connected. And now here we are!”
Fast forward from January 2014 and you will find Matt and Dana in Evergreen, CO in the middle of a beautiful hike. They were visiting Dana’s brother and sister-in-law in Colorado and decided to step out into the incredible scenery for a hike. When they got to the top of Panorama Point Trail, Matt got Dana up onto the top of a boulder, got down on knee, and popped the question. “Of course I said yes. I cried. He cried. Everybody cried.”
We are so excited to have the Figlewicz Photo team at the University Club of Pasadena to capture Dana and Matt’s wedding in January 2019!!
