Jenny and Bryan are two of the funniest people you will ever encounter! This couple truly enjoys each other and the relationship they have built together. We have never seen a couple laugh so hard during their engagement session and their humor is truly contagious. These two met on a flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta. Bryan was traveling for work and Jenny was working on his flight and after noticing each other during pre-boarding, they happened to sit next to each other on the plane. According to this bride-to-be, if she had gotten the window seat she would have just gone straight to sleep…but Bryan had the window and so they started to chat but with very different intentions. Jenny wanted that window seat so she thought he might offer it up if she kept chatting. Bryan however wanted her to ask for the seat so he wouldn’t lose his opportunity to talk to her. Jenny realized that her chances of getting the coveted window seat were getting worse so she gave up and decided they should watch a movie. “It was the worst movie ever, but what a great awkward time we had!” Bryan gave her his card at the end of the flight and then DM’d her on Twitter 15 minutes later. She responded back and they have been together ever since.
Their proposal happened on October 2nd when Bryan woke Jenny up to tell her to get dressed because he wanted to take her somewhere for lunch. At that moment, Jenny gasped to herself and realized, “I’m getting married!!” She played along as he drove them to Malibu. After eating at a restaurant where they had eaten on one of their first dates, he took her to a nearby beach and tried to find the perfect secluded section for them to stop. He kept telling her to keep walking…keep walking…keep walking. Finally, as they approached knee-high tide, Jenny tuned around and said, “I don’t want to keep walking. I know what is about to happen so just do it already.” Amused, Bryan shook his head, took out the box and got down on one knee and she said YES! Jenny has an amazing sense of humor and she was so excited to spend the rest of her life with Bryan that more walking would have been pointless because she was ready to commit to this wonderful man.
We loved photographing these two and cannot wait to see their wedding come together! The newly renovated Manhattan Beach Library was the perfect spot to capture these photos and we are stoked to share all of their images. Enjoy!
