Kelly and Greg are fantastic!! Kelly is another one of my kids from youth ministry… I can’t believe she is all grown up! I also worked with her mother at our church and we became very close. When I found out Kelly was engaged I was SO excited! This wedding was such a blessing to us. The ceremony and reception were in a backyard (a lot like our wedding), it was relaxing and gorgeous! Kelly is the most humble woman I have ever met and Greg is sweeter than honey!
The Lord put it on both of their hearts to go on a short-term mission trip to Santo Domino, Dominican Republic in July 2010 and little did they know that their world’s would be changed forever. After Kelly had spent 11 days as a leader for the high school team from Rolling Hills Covenant Church, The Lord put it on her heart to stay in the country to serve for another two weeks and the next team that came to the Dominican was Greg’s team from Northwest Arkansas. Although they didn’t talk much while in the Dominican Republic, they talked almost everyday after they came back to the States! Greg fell in love with Kelly’s heart for the Lord and knew she was the girl for him!
