Alexandra & Dan are such special people. They are both super smart, we mean like really smart. They are so cute together. Our engagement session at Crystal Cove was the perfect location for this super fun and memorable engagement photo session.
I think the photos that we take speak for themselves and there are some great ones of Alexandra & Dan’s engagement session, but once again I find myself thinking just how blessed we are as engagement photographers in Southern California. We get to meet so many truly remarkable and amazing people (not to mention during one of the most important and joyous times in their lives.) Alexandra & Dan are so humble and fun to be around and care so deeply for one another – I don’t know if I’ve stared at so many engagement photos over the years that I see things others don’t, but when I look at these photos we captured of Alexandra & Dan I can see the love between these two just as I can see the framing, the lighting, the shadows, and the soft contours of dappled light.
A day never goes by that I don’t think about how special it is that we get to capture these important moments in peoples lives. To know that theses are the photos that couples will share with their kids and their grandkids, and God willing their great-grand children. It’s humbling and an honor to be part of these memories for generations to come.
The last couple images we got on this memorable engagement shoot were just as the sun was dipping below the horizon. It was spectacular (postcard, really) and Alexandra & Dan were so great as we stayed to get the last moment of the sun! Their silhouettes against the fading sunset are simply magical!
Cannot wait for these two to walk the aisle!!!
