Wayfarers Chapel | Palos Verdes Golf Club Wedding | Caitlin + Jonathan

Caitlin and Jonathan planned a traditional, elegant wedding that began at Wayfarers Chapel and transitioned to a beautiful Palos Verdes Golf Club Wedding. These two met at a party in June of 2004. It was right after they got out of school for the summer. Caitlin had just finished her junior year in high school and Jonathan was back for the summer after finishing his first year at Michigan State. (P.S. He did not return to Michigan after meeting Caitlin!!) 12 years later, on the same day they met years earlier, Jon proposed to Caitlin during a trip to New Mexico. Caitlin went out to New Mexico to spend the summer with Jonathan. He took her to a fancy resort and surprised her with a ring and the rest is history! 

Jonathan and Caitlin share a passion for laughter, food, and animals. They love to go on adventures, but also enjoy a good night in. They enjoy cooking together, drinking wine, and watching Seinfeld or a good movie. If they decide to go out on the town they love to check out new restaurants and find hidden gems! 

We will leave you with what Jonathan and Caitlin love most about each other because we think it is such a great display of their love and personalities. From Jon: “Caitlin is extremely caring. For instance, she still drives out of her way to care for a neighborhood cat I used to care for before I moved away.”

From Caitlin: “I love his sense of humor. He is always telling jokes and making fun of himself to make others feel good. I also love his big heart, compassion, and his love for animals…especially cats!”
