Terranea Resort Wedding | Jordan + Mark | Part 1

Weddings

Mark and Jordan’s story…told by them!

Mark’s version…

“The first time, the very first time, Jordan and I met, we were at a party. I still remember talking to Jordan that night. She was with a few other girls. Not a lot was said, mostly small talk. But I do remember Jordan’s sweet personality and thinking she was one of the cutest girls who had ever talked to me. It wasn’t until the end of our first year of law school, and months of secretly planning from a distance, that I made it a goal to get Jordan’s phone number. Before flying home to Montana, I dutifully headed to the school library with shoulders slumped to print the cases necessary to complete the Note required to “write on” to one of the law school journals (a task I never completed for the journals I never joined). Jordan was at the library too…Jordan was at the library! I steeled my nerve and went over and talked to her. Needless to say my ‘sparkling’ personality won her over and I got her phone number that day.”

Jordan’s version (continued from where Mark left off)…

“First year of law school was over, I had moved home for the summer, and I was looking ahead to my summer internship and the dreadful “write on” due roughly a month later. This “write on” required me to print about 200 pages of material so I drove to the Pepperdine law library to begin said printing. Coincidentally, Mark walked into the library to do his own printing at the exact same time that I was there. I had OBVIOUSLY noticed Mark before I saw him at the library that day because he is just so cute and tall and handsome! Mark started chatting with me. But on this particular occasion as our conversation drew to an end, he caught me off guard by asking for my number! He also suggested that we go on a hike upon his return from Montana. Swoon!! We kept in touch during his visit to Montana, and we went on our first date during his first week back in Los Angeles. Mark–a man of his word who was adorable, smart, clever, AND shared my love for wine and cheese?! I was smitten!”

I love the toddler in the wagon and the 'corn hole' game. Fun!
