I’m going to start this wedding off with a quick story about part of our journey. South Coast Botanic Gardens is my favorite location to shoot in the South Bay. It is where we shot our very first wedding… we weren’t even Figlewicz Photography yet! Casey was shooting with another photographer and I was actually a guest at the wedding. Casey tossed me a camera and said just take some photos and see what happens. Little did I know, that would be the beginning of my LOVE for photography and more specifically my LOVE for wedding photography! Casey and I had experienced a tragedy just two months prior and at that first wedding, surrounded by nature, I experienced JOY again. Something I thought would be impossible. But God started healing our hearts and he was using photography to do it!
Amy’s parents Ron and Joy, found Casey and I at a little bridal show in Palos Verdes and we ended up swapping stories about our families. They have a son and two daughters too. They walked away and I turned to Casey and said I REALLY LIKE THEM! Before the bridal show was over they came back to our booth… I was thrilled to chat more. We were so excited when they booked us! We finally got to meet Amy and Tim and we immediately hit it off. By the time the wedding day was here we felt very comfortable and just happy to be there for them. And I was of course so excited to be shooting at my favorite place! Since this wedding is THREE posts… I’m going to bring it in for a landing here!
Tim might be a Marine…. BUT he cried like a cute little baby!! Amy felt very loved!
And then it was daddy’s turn!
Amy is very blessed to have two amazing men that love her!
