Private Estate Rancho Palos Verdes Wedding | Michelle + Jack | Part 2

We just want to take a second to take in the beauty of the private estate that Michelle and Jack chose for their big day. Incredible!! These two make a beautiful couple and it was so fitting to celebrate in an intimate setting that displayed the beauty of Rancho Palos Verdes for the guests to experience. In part 1 of Michelle and Jack’s Private Estate Rancho Palos Verdes Wedding we told you how they met, but we love their engagement story just as much and we want you to hear it too.

“The proposal happened in Mammoth Lakes, California on February 19, 2017. More specifically, it happened on Twin Lakes, exactly one year after Jack moved out to California to be with Michelle. Jack had a side hobby of photography growing up and throughout college but had not frequented this hobby recently. Needless to say, he started talking the hobby up in the weeks prior to the proposal. Michelle had no idea he was even close to proposing (he told her on Valentine’s day a few days before that he was over a year away) and invited one of her best friends Michele to come on the trip. On Sunday morning, after lots of convincing that Michele (her friend) and her sister (Kelley) would be fine if she went for a hike and to take pictures with Jack, they went on their way. They had coffee at Tamarack Lodge, a stone’s throw away from the lake and then went to take photos. Jack set up a tripod, took some pictures (attempting to find the perfect shot) then told Michelle to go out there so he could photograph her. After a few shots, he ran out to join her and under the time constraint of the automatic timer, got down on one knee and said, “I don’t have a speech but will you marry me.” Luckily he got the perfect shot!”

We. Love. This! The genuine, honest, romantic qualities of this proposal show just how suited Jack and Michelle are. They value each other’s strengths and accept each other’s weaknesses.

“I love Jack’s heart, his desire to always do the right thing, and to constantly  worry about other people. He truly cares about everyone around him. I love his work ethic, how committed he is to not only succeeding in his career but also to making a difference and impacting this world.”
