Annie and Mark’s wedding day was just gorgeous! It was the perfect, hot, Southern California beach-side wedding! Fortunately, because it was so hot, the Portofino Hotel is right next to the water so we had a nice ocean breeze to cool us off and it was SUCH a beautiful location for this wedding, as you will see from the photos to come! It also fit this “beachy” couple (Hermosa locals) to a T. They even got some sunset shots down on the sand in Hermosa after the ceremony! The entire atmosphere of this wedding perfectly matched Annie and Mark – who we think perfectly match each other!
Mark’s ring was really cool looking, and it has the Chinese symbol for happiness on it.
When Mark and Annie had their first look, Mark had that nervous excitement about him. Once he saw Annie, though, it was just pure happiness. He was so excited to see her that he couldn’t stand still. Instead of waiting for her to get to him he had to walk to her. It was a pretty sweet moment for the two of them.
A really nice man let us go out onto the docks with all the ships so Annie and Mark got some really great pictures that fit with the overall look and style of their wedding.
The bridal parties were so fun and wild! Mark was a little bummed that he didn’t get any cool yellow sunglasses, so Annie gave him hers to share.
The groomsmen were a rowdy bunch of guys and they were full of energy!
Like we said – the ceremony at the Portofino was STUNNING!
Mark’s best friend was their officiant who married them, which made the whole ceremony so personal, meaningful, and special.
Each table was named after places they had visited together, and a picture of the two of them at that place – and Annie and Mark have been ALL OVER THE WORLD together!
To see the pictures of the reception and Annie and Mark down on the sand in Hermosa just wait for Part 2! And trust us, it’s worth the wait!!!
