Get ready for some magical photos!! Whitney captured Julia and Connor’s Ojai Engagement and we were stoked to see such incredible photos of their portrait session. These college sweethearts met during their first week at Cal Poly SLO. After 4 years of dating, Connor decided the time had come to step take the next step towards marriage.
“Connor proposed to me on May 9th 2017, which was our 4th year of being together. We had dinner reservations after work in Manhattan Beach to celebrate 4 years of dating. We arrived ‘early’ to the dinner so Connor suggested we take a walk out on the pier. The most beautiful sunset was setting over the ocean and we walked to the very end of the pier. We rounded the corner of the cute blue cafe to see a bed of rose petals and candles covering the floor. Connor got down on one knee and popped the question! We had a crowd of people cheering for us off to the side because my two best friends had been there to set up the flowers & candles and had been clearing the area for our perfect moment!”
Julia and Connor have become adults together have helped shape each other in ways they will continue to discover as they enter into marriage. They are supportive of each other in every circumstance and seemed so happy to be nearing their September Casitas Estate wedding!
