As professional Engagement Photographers we naturally get to capture really wonderful and iconic moments but on occasion we get to do something slightly different, this mountain top elegant engagement was exactly that. It’s always so exciting and fun to do something different from the norm. Carly & Marcel were certainly game for that. There is something interesting that happens when we are shooting elegant in contrast to rugged and rough. The images just command your attention. Carly with her elegances is in stark contrast to the rugged untamed wilderness and yet the way she moves its as though she belongs in the landscape. I’m not getting artsy here but there is something poetic about these images that is timeless… like a fairytale. Marcel is the perfect Prince Charming or the heralded knight bringing anchor and power to the images.
This Engagement shoot with Carly & Marcel is so memorable. Everything about the images is striking. The moments all at once are gorgeous, whimsical, and mysterious. Am I the only one that gets images of fairytales when I look at these images? Okay, what can I say there is something really amazing about these captured moments that brings out fairytales in my brain.
