Andrea and Brian’s Downtown LA Wedding had beautiful details and combined urban and traditional themes to create the perfect Southern California fall wedding.
“We met via Coffee Meets Bagel in the summer of 2016. Our first conversations were about fantasy football, followed by 2 failed attempts at a first date. Brian failed to secure tickets to Museum of Ice Cream in NYC, then we could not get into a Hamilton cast meeting due to being under dressed. We ended up meeting over tea and the rest is history. We knew from the beginning that we complemented each other better than most can ever imagine. Outside of the obvious love for food, football, movies, and God, we find ways to never run out of things to talk about daily. We look forward to continuing to grow with each other in a way that is never boring.”
Fast forward two years and we find Brian and Andrea ready to take the jump into marriage. “The proposal was on June 2, 2018. Brian rented out a private theater at the Lincoln Center and got me there under the guise of an “Incredibles 2 Pre-Screening.” When we got to the empty theater, Brian played “Dear Basketball” starring Kobe Bryant, to pay homage to my love for Kobe, LA, and the Lakers. Following the short was a montage of photos and videos and voice over of our relationship up to that point. The montage ended with the big question, my best friend and sister flying in, and Brian’s brother and sister-in-law coming with cookies from Levaine’s.”
What a way to start an engagement! We love Andrea and Brian’s sense of adventure and were stoked to have Figlewicz Photo there to capture every beautiful moment of their wedding day!
