Julie and Dustin’s The Crossings at Carlsbad wedding was a beautiful mix of traditional wedding day and romantic celebration. Stacee captured their day and loved seeing their wedding come together. Julie and Dustin met on a group ski trip through mutual friends. In December of 2015 the proposal happened while sledding in Mammoth. These two have fun together and love to be active. Tennis, hiking, vacationing, and skiing are some of their favorite pastimes and we love how they incorporated one of their hobbies into their proposal story. Getting to celebrate their engagement on a ski trip was the perfect way to blend their love for each other with their love of outdoor adventures.
The soft, rustic details they incorporated into their wedding decor gave their wedding day a creamy, dreamy feel that made everyone feel welcome and excited to celebrate. We loved the floral details that Julie and Dustin decided on and their centerpieces sat beautifully against the brick and glass wall that made up the reception hall. The gold accents on each table brought an edge of luxury that we loved and that perfectly accented their wedding decor. The last photos in this blog show off the party that ensued during this reception and it was the party to end all parties! The guests at Julie and Dustin’s wedding had a blast and were determined to make the most of the dance floor. Their black-tie affair was an event to see and we are so excited the Figlewicz Photography team was able to capture their wedding day!
Julie and Dustin, we wish you the best as you enter this new season of marriage and we look forward to seeing what life brings your way. Your wedding was a blast and we are so stoked to have had Stacee there to photograph every detail of your The Crossings at Carlsbad Wedding!
