Spanish Oaks Ranch Wedding | Santa Margarita | Regina & Shane

Regina and Shane had the perfect backdrop for their big day. From the gorgeous barn doors to the fresh greenery leading to their sweet altar beneath the trees, Whitney captured every sweet detail of this Spanish Oaks Ranch Wedding!

Regina and Shane first met as freshmen at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in the dorms, but didn’t get to know each other well until their final years at school when they lived across the street from one another. With the excuse of a mutual best friend to hang out with, they spent more time together and sparks flew!

After four blissful years together, Regina was surprised by Shane’s incredibly romantic proposal. “It was very intimate and small, just him and I. We went to visit his parents in Torrance, California and I thought we were going there to celebrate his birthday (his birthday was the weekend after).” Shane stepped out to the garage to “grab a drink” when he was really taking moment to compose himself before he popping the question! “I ended up going out to the garage to check in on him and he had candles lit, pictures of our four years together, wine, dessert, everything romantically set up. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes!”

These two lovebirds have much in common. From shared values to big life and career goals, they knew they had found the perfect life partner in one another. “When we pictured the future, he was always in mine and I was always in his – there was never any doubt.”
