South Coast Botanic Gardens Wedding | Amanda + Drew

Amanda and Drew’s South Coast Botanic Gardens Wedding had us in floral heaven! This venue is incredible and we are still swooning over their greenery wall. These two met through the dating app, Coffee Meets Bagel, but they had some help through Amanda’s good friend. She sent Drew’s profile to Amanda on a hunch and the rest is history! 

Their proposal happened on June 9th, while Amanda was paddle-boarding in King Harbor. “Drew went to a “work meeting” to pick up the ring in downtown LA. The proposal happened that same day on the beach right by the Chart House in Redondo. He decided to propose there because our relationship blossomed in the South Bay and Amanda’s dad proposed there forty years ago. Some kids on the beach actually erupted in applause when Drew got on one knee!”

Drew’s loving thoughtful nature made Amanda fall in love! She loves that he is always up for an adventure and that he fits right in with her family. Amanda’s zest for life and stole Drew’s heart. He loves how she brings him out of his comfort zone and lights up every moment of their time together. They were inspired by their parents commitment to marriage and felt ready to take the next step. “Amanda’s parents have been married for 40 years and Drew’s parents have been married for 35 years, so we desired to emulate their loving examples of marriage. Our calling to marriage also grew out of our love for God and our desire to commit our lives to His values and each other.”
