Betty and Johnny’s Romantic Palos Verdes Engagement was a dream to shoot! They incorporated rich pops of color, beautifully coordinated outfits, and added the perfect cozy blanket to warm up their sunset beach portraits. These two first met in their Sophomore Year at UCSD. Johnny remembers how their first spontaneous Boba run sealed the deal. He was enamored by her from the start and they have been together ever since.
Their proposal happened on their 6th anniversary. Johnny took Betty to a cliff by La Jolla Beach, where they had gone on their 6 month anniversary years before. He had prepared 6 gifts for her to open. The first four were random, the fifth gift was a video he made that included best wishes from their friends and family, and the sixth gift was the ring!! We love this story!! Johnny did an incredible job with this proposal and we love the balance of planning, romance, and personal touches.
These two love to do everything from watching movies, going to the gym, cooking dinner…as long as they are together. “It’s natural. We never get bored while we are around each other. Our love and respect towards each other also matured during all these years. It was an easy, and meant-to-be, decision to take on this journey of doing life together.”
