McKenzie and Matthew are ready to tie the knot in a few short months at La Venta Inn! They chose a Malaga Cove Plaza Engagement session and we loved how their photos turned out. McKenzie and Matthew first met in High School, but did not know each other well until many years later. After living life away from each other, McKenzie had a layover in LA while headed to Maui so they met for dinner. Several months later they met up again and Matthew invited McKenzie to Tahoe for Christmas. That trip sealed the deal and they have been a couple ever since. Their proposal happened in the same beautiful spot in Tahoe where they realized that they had something special.
“The last few years we have headed to Tahoe on December 26th and we always stop for a hot cocktail and s’mores around a fire pit at The Lone Eagle Grill around sunset. After a beautiful sunset, Matt got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!”
Their engagement story fit their personalities so well. McKenzie and Matthew love being together and including others in their joy, so we know their wedding will be a joyous extension of their romantic proposal! We are stoked to have Figlewicz Photo along for their wedding ride and we look forward to documenting every moment of their celebration in September.
