“On August 27th after Tim worked a long day, we picked up pizza and went to Del Cerro park in Palos Verdes to eat and catch up. I was thinking this was a special night because he had been working so much, not because he was going to propose! I had thought he was acting weird because he kept looking at his phone and telling me “my brother wants to surf tomorrow.” I was thinking… okay. cool?
When I was finally done eating, Tim said I had some stuff in my teeth. I got out my little mirror and I had A LOT of stuff in my teeth. Being the very proper person I am, I tried to use my fingernails but it wasn’t working. I looked for something else to use in my purse and finally succeeded. After that I grabbed a blanket and leaned back because it was starting to get really cold. Tim then asked if I wanted to stretch my legs. “Umm no.” I said. He looked disappointed and then finally said. “Stand up.” So I did. He wasn’t saying anything and then finally it hit me “Oh man he’s going to propose!” so he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was still in shock and answered “Ya”. Tim told me that I didn’t even look at the ring for a good amount of time, which was his favorite part. I was locked in looking at his eyes and he had to remind me there was a ring! It was so beautiful.”
