Lake Arrowhead Resort | Priscilla and Chris | Part 1

I am so excited to share this wedding with everyone! Chris and Priscilla planned an amazing wedding at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. Casey and I left our house super early and headed for the mountains. We knew it had snowed the night before, but we did not anticipate a winter wonderland. The whole drive up I kept saying this is so fun!  Priscilla had been hoping for snow and she got it…Luckily Casey bought chains the day before. This car was still stuck in the snow when we were headed home the following day.We had to stop by Alpine! The summer we started dating 12 years ago we were both youth leaders at this camp.Lake Arrowhead is beautiful! This tree was covered with blossoms and snow!Snow blowing the ceremony spot.Chris gave Priscilla these beautiful gifts.Every couple that gets married at the Lake Arrowhead Resort signs a cork and it stays in the room with all the others. Super cute!Priscilla I love you! You are so feisty and beautiful. Not every bride would have been so excited about snow in April! But you were a trooper and you embraced every moment of the day!Priscilla surprised Chris with these garters.Chriscilla! LOL!When Priscilla was putting her earrings she dropped them but she found them!So gorgeous!Your mother was so happy! The first look was so awesome!Chris was so excited…Chris and Priscilla, you are so great together! We can’t wait to show you more… part 2 is tomorrow AND part 3 is the next day. Yup there’s a part 3! Love you guys.

Queen Mary | Long Beach Wedding Photography | Ashley + Mike P2

Here is part 2 of Ashley and Mike’s wedding! Because of the rain, their outdoor wedding was moved to the Chapel… but it was just as magical!  And we possibly got a photo of a ghost… which made Ashley very excited.  Ashley, her sister Jordan and her mom have been ghost hunting on the Queen Mary for years. They take it very seriously! We love you guys!  Even the night before the wedding Ashley and Jordan were running around the boat, giggling like little girls, trying to scare themselves. Mike stayed super calm through the whole wedding, but it was just a front for the real tears that came later.I love this photo!Jordan, you are are awesome!Right after the ceremony Mike started balling… it was the sweetest thing ever. My heart melted! It took him a good 15 minutes to recover! But then he was good and we were blessed with a few minutes of clear skies.I love this shot… it’s stunning! Our intern Kaitlin Kelley took it!

Ashley was so excited to be outside and on the top deck.  Earlier that day we would have been soaked and blown off the boat!Even with all the rain, God blessed us with just enough time to get all the outdoor shots we wanted!Yummy! Our kids were so excited to get their candy bags! This ballroom seriously takes you back in time! It’s amazing! So cute!Grandpa gettin’ down!I love you guys! Always having fun!

Thank you guys again! We love you both. We can’t wait to hang out again soon!:)Margaritas at the Rivi!

Ashley and Mike, we have enjoyed every minute with you guys! Your wedding was amazing… rain and all!  Here is part 1 of your very rainy wedding on the Queen Mary.Ashley wore her Grandma’s jewelry and had their families 100 year old hankie.Ashley, you are so beautiful! You guys are adorable!Don’t be deceived by the sunny windows, it was pouring! This was the biggest and windiest rain storm Southern California had this year!Ashley has been taking this same picture since she was a little girl. The rain broke and we braved the outdoors! You guys are troopers! And then it started to pour again…I think rainy weddings weddings are very romantic… and it will be something you remember forever!Remember when the ghost lifted your veil! LOLJordan, thank you for trusting us with your sister’s wedding and for being a huge supporter of our business. You were at the very first bridal show we ever did. We are so blessed by your friendship and now we have been blessed by your whole family!Check back tomorrow for part 2 of Ashley and Mike’s wedding!!

Nicaragua | Fig Adventures P2

Here is Ryan’s killer little pool! Can’t wait to try it out in Nov!

They had so many people in this bus. I can’t image being in there. These guys jumped on for a free ride through town.

Ryan and Bill chilling at the hardware store waiting for some supplies.

I couldn’t not take a picture of this:)

So much color in this country!

How do they do this??

All loaded up with our supplies! Headed back to Ryan’s pad to finish it up.

I tried forever to get a shot of this bird. It was so fast. He loved Ryan’s almond trees.

Bill Watt chilling.

Ryan getting his afternoon snack on!

So my plan wasn’t to go to Nicaragua to find shells. It was to score some amazing surf. But since that didn’t happen I had an abundance of time to spend looking for shells. I think I can say I scored the mother load!

Locals working the well.

So Cola is on the left in the shot and Bill aka “El Tomata”

Super HOT chillies. I think:)

Local kids at Ryan’s place.

Killer sunsets again:)

Here are some more Instagram pics. I really loved this country. Can’t wait to take Andrea there in the fall. I just hope I score some waves this time:)
